The measure of force encloses all tests essential for the quality and resistance of a specific product. There are different types of force tests: traction force, compression force and torque force.
The instruments mostly employed for traction and compression force measurements are digital or analog force gauges. The use of force gauges is transversal to many sectors, such as the evaluation of the pulling and pushing force, the measurement of tractions and compressions, the leak test and in all those cases where the user wants to evaluate a dynamic stress cycle of materials. Force gauge is also used to check the opening or closing force of gates, doors or windows.
Other force measures can be those of torque, made by torque wrenches and torque testers. Torque testers are indispensable for checking, calibrating and checking torque wrenches.
A variant of torque meter is cap torque tester. This type of torque meter is able to measure the opening or closing force of various caps.
