Digital cupping testers – SACT309 SACT310

Digital cupping tester is used to evaluate crack resistance and detachment from metal substrate of a coated surface. The sample panel is clamped by an upper wheel and cupped by a 20mm hemispherical indenter onto a 27mm die.

The SACT309 model is manual and the results can be easily observed with an illuminated magnifying glass. The depth that cause failure is indicated on a digital display.

The SACT310 model is automatic: the speed-controlled movement eliminates the human factor and digital camera allows a more accurate measurement that can be viewed directly on the screen.
