DIGITAL PULL-OFF ADHESION TESTER
Digital pull-off adhesion tester – SADPO500 – SADPO500/A
Pull-off tester is a handheld measuring instrument widely used to measure the force required to pull a specified test diameter of coating away from its substrate using hydraulic pressure. The pressure is displayed on a LCD diplay and represents the coating’s strenght of adhesion to the substrate. It evaluates the adhesion (pull-off strenght) of a coating by determining the greatest tensile pull-off force that it can bear before detaching. Breaking points, demonstrated by fractured surfaces, occur along the weakest plane within the system consisting of dolly, adhesive, coating layers and substrate.
Portable design, built-in rechargeable lithium battery, no need external power supply, it can be used in any position; Pull rate indicator allows the operator to easily monitor and adjust the pull rate in accordance with international standards. The user can easily select dolly sizes, change measurement units or store readings with the touch of a button; conversion charts are not required, because the gauge automatically calculates pressure based on dolly size; inexpensive, single-use dollies eliminate cleaning procedures. Each kit comes with everything needed for testing.
Self-aligning aluminum dolly ensures accurate measurements on smooth or uneven surfaces. Thanks to the built-in clock, all values are saved with specific data and time. Nothing coulb be more useful for the user to manage test recorded data.
Internal memory stores maximum pull-off pressure, rate of pull, test duration and dolly size. No softwares are needed: when connecting to the PC, the operator can read directly all data recorded during testing; LCD displays pressure value in psi or mpa; 10, 14, 20 or 50 mm dollies maximize capability and measurement resolution across a wide range of adhesion strengths.
Weatherproof, dustproof and shockproof, the gauge meets or exceedes IP65. It is equipped with a sturdy carrying case and can be used in any position.
